Your privacy

RadioChatter is a private group listening, voice and text chat room operated by its host. Google sign-in verifies your account ID, name and verified email. Your email determines access and the host role; other group members see your display name.

An HTTP-only, secure session cookie keeps you signed in for up to eight hours. Your chosen display name is saved in this browser. Sign out to clear the session.

Your microphone is off on entry. When the host approves you and you unmute, your voice is transmitted to the room through LiveKit. The host can also share stereo music. A visible notice appears when the host starts recording the room’s music, voices and group messages. Recordings are captured in the host’s browser and, when saved, stored for replay by invited users.

Live group chat keeps up to 200 messages in your current browser session and clears them when you leave or refresh. While recording, up to 500 group messages and their attachment references are captured with timestamps. New arrivals do not receive earlier live messages. Saved recordings retain their captured comments, and invited users can add further comments and attachments at a replay timestamp.

Uploaded images, audio, videos, PDFs and text files are stored privately for the group. Attachments and saved replay comments remain available across sessions. Only signed-in invited accounts can retrieve audio recordings, comments and files through this app. Other participants can independently copy, download or record anything shared with them.

ChatGPT Sites hosts the website, Cloudflare storage holds recordings, attachments and replay comments, Google handles sign-in, and LiveKit delivers live audio and text. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, contacts or other Google content.

Only share material you are comfortable sharing with the group. The host can move speakers back to listening or remove participants. Contact the host for access, recording or deletion requests.
